Every functional organism has a mechanism to stay functional. This is true of all organisms including, viruses, fungi and bacteria.
Different functional organisms have different arrays of genes which control their metabolism, growth, homeostasis and immune system.
A full array of genes associated with SARS CoV-2 was downloaded from GeneCards (25Sep2020). These genes were then run through our database of all genes associated with the mechanism which controls metabolism, growth, homeostasis, and immune response.
There were only three changes from the original array from March with exclusion EIF4E and MBP and addition of EIF2AK2.
All of these genes are switched on or off by IR or UV radiation. Hence the CoV-2 virus like others does not function with high levels of sunshine (UV radiation..
